Description: The Suzuki Institute of Seattle, est. in the early 1970s, is seeking a piano teacher to join us in north-Seattle. SIS is dedicated to fostering holistic development and excellence in their students, we offer opportunities such as weekly lessons, group lessons, recitals, and chamber music.
Duties: Teaching individual and group classes, preparing students for recitals and other events. Attending monthly faculty meetings and attending our four-day summer music camp at the Seabeck Conference Center. Piano faculty also have some accompanying duties.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in music is required, plus Suzuki training. Ability to teach a range of students from very young beginners through advanced out-of-repertoire students.
Piano: Tuition reimbursement negotiable for SAA training.
Salary: $56/hour base pay. Pay scale commensurate with Suzuki Training. Retirement benefits available.
