Seabeck Suzuki Music Camp

Save the dates! Seabeck 2022 is June 16-19

Registration for our Seabeck Suzuki Music Camp is now closed.

Suzuki Camp at Seabeck, WA

Each June, the Suzuki Institute of Seattle offers a three-day music camp for Suzuki Institute of Seattle students and parents at the Seabeck Conference Center located in Seabeck, WA (Google maps). Suzuki Music Camp is a unique and engaging way for students to interact with and learn from each other in an informal, fun, “summer camp” setting. Many parents comment to us that the camp improves student motivation and helps make home practice more fun for the student.

Suzuki Music Camp includes music-related activities such as chamber music, orchestra, repertoire classes, group lessons, concerts, and recitals. Friday evening, often a highlight of camp, is Parent Night: an opportunity for parents to show off their hidden talents!

Recreational activities available at Seabeck include arts & crafts, swimming, boating, tennis, volleyball, soccer, ping-pong, and hiking. The Seabeck Conference Center provides all of the essential services: meals, linens, bedding, soap, and towels. The lodging is, for the most part, “dorm-style.”

COVID-19 Policy

By registering for Suzuki Music Camp at Seabeck, you are attesting that you and every member of your group, 2 years of age or older, will provide proof of full vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival, in accordance with the Seabeck Conference Center’s COVID-19 Policy. “Fully vaccinated” means it will have been at least two weeks since receiving either 1) both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2) a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

We will continue to adhere to the Suzuki Institute of Seattle’s COVID-19 policy: Masks will be worn indoors, except when eating, regardless of vaccination status. If anyone in your household is sick (even if it’s not COVID-19), you and your group will stay home. Anyone becoming ill while at Seabeck must return home. Anyone in your household has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 must provide a negative test result before coming to Seabeck. Please review the full policy.

The safety and health of everyone in the school is of the highest importance, and we appreciate you all working together to create a learning environment that is comfortable for everyone.
